Warm Up Exercises
As we fully embrace fall and start heading into the colder months, it’s important for students to spend a few minutes before class warming up and getting their bodies (and minds) ready for class. Need a place to start? We’ll be sharing a new warm-up exercise every Wednesday. These will also be posted to the school website page, and a list will be posted on the school community board.
Warm-up Wednesday #1 - glute bridge!
This exercise is great for warming up the backs of the legs - focus on engaging your glutes and hamstrings. Try it on demi-pointe for an extra calf warm up too! Be sure you keep knees going over toes, and legs completely in parallel.
