Work Exchange Program
for students ages 18+
Ballet Co.Laboratory’s Work Exchange Program seeks passionate dancers who are looking to get more involved in the BCL community. There are two types of Work Exchange shifts. Dancers may either work the front desk in exchange for credit towards tuition and classes (this shift would require morning availability) or work a shift to complete cleaning tasks around the studio (schedule flexibility). Each shift is roughly 3-4 hours.
We understand that being a dance student is not financially accessible to everyone. The funds that you receive from your shift can go towards drop-in classes/class cards, summer intensives or workshops, or tuition during the school year. These funds can be used for yourself, or your dancers' tuition if you have a student in the school.
Tasks may include but are not limited to…
Checking in students for class
Answering the phone and questions from students
Updating studio bulletin boards and flier frames
Sweeping/mopping the lobby, bathrooms, and studios
Cleaning studio mirrors
Taking out the trash
