YAGP Coaching
open to Levels 5, 6 and Trainee

At the School of Ballet Co.Laboratory, we are offering a YAGP Coaching Class from September 18, 2023 until the competition in January 2024. This class is limited to five students to ensure that each dancer receives appropriate individual feedback and support from the BCL Coach and team. All students will attend the same competition with a BCL Coach.

What is YAGP? Youth America Grand Prix is the world's largest non-profit international student ballet competition and scholarship program, open to dance students of all nationalities, 9–19 years old.

Why is coaching necessary? Students who compete in YAGP have the option of performing a classical variation and/or a contemporary variation. Variations showcase complicated combinations of steps that can take months to perfect. Personalized coaching allows student to focus on every detail of their variation(s) and perform with confidence.

2023 YAGP Audition Due to the long term commitment and coaching, students must be evaluated by the Ballet Co.Laboratory Staff in order to participate in YAGP. We complete this evaluation via an audition at our studios. Please sign up for the audition through your Mindbody account.
