Brigitte Kossuth (she/her) is originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, began dancing at age three and trained at Wexford Dance Academy until she graduated from high school, supplementing her training with summer intensives at Chautauqua Institution, Pacific Northwest Ballet, Miami City Ballet, Saratoga Springs Dance Intensive, Vail Valley Dance Intensive, Royal Winnipeg Ballet, and Point Park University.
She went on to spend a year in Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre’s Graduate Program before attending Indiana University in Bloomington, where she trained in the Ballet Department at the Jacobs School of Music. While there, she performed works by George Balanchine, Justin Peck, Mark Morris, and Sasha Janes, studied pedagogy, and choreographed works on her peers. In addition to her performance training, Brigitte has worked over the past two and a half years as an Administrative Assistant for both the Jacobs Academy Ballet Program and the Chautauqua School of Dance.
Brigitte recently graduated from IU with a Bachelor of Science in Ballet and a Bachelor of Science in Business with a concentration in Finance. She has since relocated to the Twin Cities to begin her career in finance and is excited to join Ballet Co.Laboratory as a teaching assistant this fall.
