Keay Ornelas (they/them) started their dance training in Bend, Oregon at Central Oregon School of Ballet, then moved to Longmont, Colorado to continue their training at Longmont Dance Theatre. After graduating in 2019, they joined the Professional Track program at State Street Ballet. While at State Street Ballet, they performed in many classical and contemporary works, as well as choreographed and danced in various dance films. They joined Ballet Co.Laboratory as a Trainee in 2022. This is their first season as an Apprentice Artist and Production Assistant.
