ATTIRE OPTIONS
Feminine presenting option - Baby blue cap sleeve leotard, pink or skin-tone footed or convertible tights with matching ballet slippers
Masculine presenting option - Fitted tee (white or baby blue), black opaque tights rolled up to just above the ankle, white socks that meet the line of the tights, and matching white ballet slippers.Gender neutral option - any form-fitting athletic clothing in level colors that allows faculty to see lines of the body and muscle work, paired with ballet slippers in a color that make a continuous line of the leg
WHY IS ATTIRE IMPORTANT?
Clean and properly fitting level attire ensures success in the ballet class so your Teaching Artist can give you feedback and help you continue learning! Long hair must be neatly secured back from the face in a bun, french twist or any variation thereof - claw clips are not secure enough for the physical demands of a ballet class. Shorter hair must be pulled away neatly from the face, secured with pins, a headband, or strong hair products. No large jewelry or wrist watches are allowed, though small stud earrings are acceptable.
