Sarah Barie (she/her) grew up in Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota and started her dancing at age three years old at Rhythm and Shoes Dance Studio. She continued to train at Saint Paul Conservatory for Performing Artists and Ashley Ballet Arts Academy. Sarah recently graduated from The University of Arizona with a BFA in dance as well as minors in Business and Arts Administration. During her time in school, she worked closely with Christopher Compton, Sam Watson, Tamara Dyke-Compton, Tyce Diorio, Hayley Meier, Gianni Howell, Marquez Johnson, Elizabeth George-Fesch, Lorin Mathis, and many others. In the past few years, Sarah has been an arts administration intern at many professional dance companies, including Ballet Co. Laboratory and Giordano Dance Chicago. Sarah currently teaches a variety of dance styles to students of all ages and is excited to add Ballet Co.Laboratory Office Manager to her journey! She is very excited to get to know the families and students within the School of Ballet Co.Laboratory!
