UPPER SCHOOL
Ages 11-18
Students who are new to Ballet Co.Laboratory must fill out an Interest Form below and may be asked to take a free placement class prior to enrolling in the Performing Arts Division. Returning students who have been placed by BCL Teaching Staff should fill out the Registration Form affiliated with their Level below to begin the registration process.
Performance Opportunities
PAD students perform alongside the professional dancers of Ballet Co.Laboratory in two mainstage productions each season in addition to several other performances held annually in our studio theatre. Rehearsals are included in the schedule to prepare for performances throughout the season.

CLASS Attire
Feminine Presenting
Camisole leotard in level color worn over pink or skin-tone tights, with ballet slippers
Masculine Presenting
Fitted tee in level color, black tights, socks, with ballet slippers

Any form-fitting athletic clothing in level color paired with ballet slippers

LEVEL III
Ages 10 - 12 Level Color: Hunter Green | 7.5 hours per week
Level III students begin to add more complicated movements at the barre and in the center to build strength and stamina. In addition, dancers focus on jumping and begin to turn. Dancers will also study modern, character dance, conditioning, and specific pre-pointe conditioning.

LEVEL IV
Ages 11 - 14 Level Color: Navy Blue | 9 hours per week
Level IV students have solidified their basic ballet stance and focus on broadening their training in jumps and turns, advancing pointe work, and learning artistry through repertoire. Modern dance class provides dancers the opportunity to explore grounded movement and new textures.

Ages 12 - 16 Level Color: Cobalt | 14 hours per week
Level V students explore classical variations and other repertoire to develop their artistry and stage presence. Dancers strengthen ballet technique by taking classes both on flat and en pointe. Dancers also begin Partnering class.

Ages 15 - 18 Level Color: Plum | 15.5 hours per week
Level VI students continue to develop and fine-tune their advanced ballet technique and artistry through classical and contemporary choreography. Stamina is built through technically advanced, fast-paced classes focused on developing a well-rounded dancer.
