Dear Ballet Co.Laboratory Community,
Happy New Year! 2018 was a wonderful year. On September 5 we started classes, on October 6 we performed On Our Terms for a lovely audience, on December 3 we signed our lease and started construction on our new home, and on December 14 we premiered Nutcracker in Wonderland to enthusiastic audiences. We are so excited to continue our journey with you into 2019.
Our new studio space in Saint Paul is looking fantastic. We have the plumbing almost complete, the walls are framed, electrical work is almost done, the ceiling is painted, and materials for completion are being scheduled and shipped. However, due to the holidays, we need an additional two weeks to put the final touches on our new home. Gethsemane Episcopal Church in Minneapolis has graciously agreed to extend our stay for these additional two weeks to allow for completion of construction. We are eternally grateful to the family at Gethsemane for their generosity. And to the Ballet Co.Laboratory community, we appreciate your patience, understanding, and continued support. We are so excited to move into our new home at 276 E Lafayette Frontage Road, St Paul on January 21, 2019!

Ballet Co.Laboratory is a professional ballet School and Company that offers ballet classes and performances to the Twin Cities community in Minnesota. Our mission for this organization is to create, develop and inspire artists and communities through collaboration with the art of ballet. For the artists and staff of Ballet Co.Laboratory, collaboration has always been the pulse of art learning and creation, so we would like to put it in the forefront. Dance and art is about experimenting, trying new things and making the impossible come to life. The studio is an experimental, collaborative laboratory of possibilities. The School and Company of Ballet Co.Laboratory will create a nurturing, safe space to explore all of these possibilities and continue to train and experience the technique and art of ballet.
Ballet, and dance in general, is not only a technique of movement but an expression of ourselves. Learning the art of ballet and dance is a life-long journey, whether one is pursuing a professional career or simply the freedom to move. For this reason, Ballet Co.Laboratory will offer ballet and movement classes for all ages, all abilities, and all backgrounds. Our Term and Drop-In programs will be led by the Twin Cities finest instructors including Deborah Nettell, Jeffrey Hankinson, Anna Goodrich as well as Company Artists from the professional company.
At Ballet Co.Laboratory we create a community that is accessible and welcoming to all. We look forward to sharing dance with you. Together we can create, develop and inspire through ballet.

We are still working on contacting surrounding buildings with parking lots to accommodate for parking near the studio during the day on weekdays. We appreciate your patience as we settle into our temporary space for these next few months.
Until then, please note that after 6:00pm on weekdays and all day on Saturdays the Garden Parking Lot to the south of Gethsemane Episcopal Church is FREE to all BCL students and parents. Please see map to the left.
