DROP-IN CLASS PRICING
what happens in a ballet class
-
In our drop-in classes, we want you to feel comfortable moving in whatever you are wearing. Tights or leggings and a leotard with tighter fitting warm-ups are encouraged so the Teaching Artist can see your movement and lines clearly and therefore offer the best feedback. Please wear ballet shoes to prevent slipping. Ballet shoes can be purchased at Grand Jete on Grand Ave in Saint Paul.
-
Arrive 10-15 minutes before your class so you have plenty of time to get signed in, remove your shoes, and settle into the studio. Please be changed with hair up/back. Please bring one bag into the studio with you to place by your barre spot. Extra items can be stored in the dressing rooms or the dancer’s lounge in the lobby.
-
Please turn your phone off or put it on silent while in the studio, give yourself a screen break and dance!
Combinations will be demonstrated by the Teaching Artist. We encourage students to follow along as the Teaching Artist demonstrates and ask any questions you may have before a combination begins. Teaching Artists will give verbal and hands-on feedback and encouragement during and after combinations to keep you growing and improving! At the end of class, everyone applauds to thank your hard work, instructor, accompanist, and fellow dancers.
-
Take a few moments to stretch out. Please respect the studio space – pick up any trash/mess and be sure to gather all belongings. Wash your hands before you leave the studio to limit the spread of germs and check in with the front desk to be updated on upcoming classes, workshops and events.
